Betsy and George Downman are very distant relatives by marriage: the mother and father-in-law of a first cousin 3x removed. In spite the genealogical distance, I find that seeing something tangible like a headsone photo brings them closer, makes them more real, and helps me to wonder about the influence they must have had on members of my family. People should be remembered and now I will have something to remind me about Betsey and George. I am very grateful to the photographer, and to you for all your work in creating, maintaining and running this website. What you do is valued.
